a quick note about why this site exists and what to expect.
hi. this is the first thing i'm posting on the new site, mostly as a test to make sure articles actually show up. if you can read this - it worked.
why a website
i've been wanting somewhere to dump photos without the noise of social media. no like counts, no follow ratios, no "engagement," no algorithm deciding what gets seen. just a slow, quiet place i fully own.
what i'll post here
- photography — mostly digital, i like playing with contrasts, shallow depth of field, gloomy or nostalgic vibes
- articles — short, rare, mostly nonsense. probably about photography, music, or progamming
